Arctic shipping - about a few 'conventional wisdoms' and the Polar Code

In two separate blog posts, Antoine Kedzierski, policy officer for clean shipping at Transport and Environment, addresses two issues important to Arctic shipping. In his first post he considers the validity of commonly heard messages about Arctic shipping, while his second post looks at recent decisions on the Polar Code made by the International Maritime Organisation.

Both articles can be read on the website of Transport and Environment: 'Unconventional wisdom on Arctic shipping' and ''Decoding' the Polar Code'.
